Q.: At what point, does one become apostate to the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses?
A.: When cognition begins.
at what point does a jehovah’s witness cease to be a jehovah’s witness?
what if a witness doesn't believe some of the official teachings of the governing body but remains silent on these subjects to avoid being disfellowshipped?
is he or she an apostate to the faith?

Anticipating New Light on shacking up!
It was good enuff for judge Rutherford, it should be good enough for ALL of Jehovah's Faithful Servants!
i've filed this under news and world events, although i could've posted it under entertainment, lol.
apparently, joe biden will be seeking re-election for another term in the white house.. this, despite a recent poll showing that 70% of people don't want him to run again.. biden just has to be the worst president i've seen.
his gaffes, over-relience on a prompter, and, more than any other president, his refusal to answer journalists' questions, all go to make him top of the list in terms of bad presidents.. it will certainly provide entertainment, if nothing else..
having being recuited a year ago today, i thought the uadna 'logo' would be a fitting peice of wallpaper for my desktop, but am unable to find one of good quality, or proper size.
nathan natas?.
aloha.
i just wonder about this topic as it is now 109 years since that date and what was expected to take place has never happened ..
The Unification Church, (full name: Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity) aka "Moonies" teaches a unique Christian theology.
Name any religion that advertises that they are NOT the true religion.
Only the Church of the SubGenius rejects absolute truth and embraces contradictions and paradoxes, which PROVES it is ABSOLUTE TRUTH.
i had a luncheon yesterday with and aunt and cousin.
the only reason i went, and endured it, was because my father who can’t drive wanted to see them.
as i sat there eating the lunch at the restaurant, i couldn’t help think how totally oblivious they are to what’s going on, in an ever expanding organisation of the happiest people on earth.
It is understandable. JWs have to push their fantasies in order to qualify for their PERSONAL salvation. We "apostates" are not compelled to torment others to be happy in the eternal NOW.

I agree with you. There is no virtue in convincing a person on their deathbed that their dreams of ressurection and paradise are irrational fantasies.
I'm in my mid-70s. I have two PIMI (fleshly) brothers who are also in their 70s. I see no point in convincing them that for the past HALF CENTURY they have been fools.
i'll start by stating the obvious... according to the watchtower, the catholic church is a huge part of babylon the great which is led by satan and his demons.
raymundus martini, a catholic monk (who "represents" babylon the great to some extent), woke up one day in the 13th century and decided to alter yhwh so it can be easily pronounced.
hence the spanish-ish version of yhwh was created... jehova... (sounds something like this in spanish: heh-o-va).
The Watchtower's "Aid to Bible Understanding" published in 1971 revealed this fact.

Same over here in the USSA, except that our conversion is nearly complete.
